OUR STORY

In 2022, Max and Kelvin moved from Sabah to Kuala Lumpur, each with different goals. Kelvin came for work, while Max pursued his dream of building EAGLL Apparel. Despite their busy schedules, powerlifting remained their passion. Kelvin, a very enthusiastic lifter, naturally became Max’s coach, and their training sessions soon became a routine.

As they trained, more like-minded lifters joined them, drawn by Kelvin’s coaching. What started as casual sessions grew into something bigger—a team of five dedicated athletes training under Kelvin’s guidance.

That same year, their hard work led them to the IPF SEA Cup 2022, where they proudly represented Malaysia. Competing on an international stage was a defining moment, proving their strength and commitment. Riding on this momentum, Cen hao took on an even bigger challenge—the IPF Asian
Championship 2022
, standing among Asia’s best lifters.

From two friends lifting for fun to building a team, and competing
internationally
, Max and Kelvin’s journey showed that passion, dedication, and community can turn a hobby into something much greater—a movement in Malaysian powerlifting.

MTA collboration- Fast approaching to Eagll’s debut at their first biggest international competition in December, the Asian Classics Champsionship, they have formed a strong alliance with Lineage of Strength (LOS) - a team that has a strong appearance in the youth Powerlfiting development in the country. This further solidifies their presence in the powerlifting scene as both teams vouched to make the country proud with their collaboration through resources, knowledge, and insights sharing where both their collective effort paid off with multiple podium finishers and notable proud moments of producing two Asian Champs; EuGene Chong (u59) and Nazrin Iskandar (u83 Jr).
